Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

We have switched up our basic chocolate chip cookies recipe to create these thin, crispy, yet soft, buttery chocolate chip cookies!  Try our recipe today.  Comment questions any time! 

Ingredients...

2 3/4 sticks butter (2 sticks + 5 tbsp.) softened

1 1/4 cup brown sugar

1 cup and 2 tbsp. granulated sugar

2 eggs

2 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. baking soda

3/4 tsp. baking powder

1 1/2 tsp. coarse salt

3 2/3 cups flour 

1 bag chocolate chips (your preference---milk, dark, or semi-sweet)  I like a mixture of all!

Cream butter and sugar together, add the rest of your wet ingredients, then dry ingredients, mix well.  Don't worry about sifting flour!  Just throw everything in the bowl and bake 'em! 
Bake at 350 until slightly golden. :)

Banana Raspberry Breakfast Muffins

Best Banana Muffin Recipe
     These delicious banana muffins have some wild raspberries added in for a yummy morning breakfast.  Check out our fun simple recipe!

Best Banana Muffins
Ingredients:
3 very ripe, mashed up bananas
1/4 cup (or more if desired) wild raspberries
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
2 tbsp. brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder -heaping tsp.
1/2 tsp. baking soda -heaping tsp.
1/2 cup cake flour
1 cup all purpose flour

-a few tablespoons brown sugar for on top

Baking tips:
If you don't have cake flour on hand, just use 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour.  Add a pinch of brown sugar to each muffin top prior to baking.  I baked these at 350 degrees and kept an eye on them.  Don't over bake! 

A pinch of brown sugar adds extra sweetness!

Directions:
Mash up bananas, add wet ingredients and raspberries, mix.  Add dry ingredients, mix gently until combined. Use an ice cream scooper to place in cupcake liners in cupcake/muffin pan. Add brown sugar to the tops.  Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or so, until slightly brown on edges but not over done.

Pillsbury Funfetti Cake Mix Cookie Recipe

Funfetti Cake Mix Cookies
       Here's an easy recipe you will love!

Funfetti Cake Mix Cookies Recipe:

Ingredients 
1 box Pillsbury Funfetti Cake Mix
2 eggs
1/3 cup butter melted

Glaze
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup butter 
1/2 tbsp water
1 tsp vanilla extract

How to:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix cake mix, 2 eggs, and melted butter together.  Dough will be thick.  Using an ice cream scooper, scoop 1 - 2 inches mounds of cookie dough on to cookie sheet. Bake until just slightly golden on edges.  Do not over bake!  Cookies should have a nice crackle.  Make glaze in sauce pan, stirring constantly for 5 - 8 minutes, or until sugar dissolves.  Then spoon cooled glaze over cooled cookies.  Add more sprinkles on top if you like!

Super delicious and easy!

Pillsbury Funfetti Cookie Recipe

Izzy made a super large one!  We cut it into triangle wedges like a pizza!  Super fun and sweet!  This would make a great cookie cake for a party!  Oh, I guess I need to make a tutorial.  😉
